CASE tools stands for Computer Aided Software Engineering. CASE tools are software tools used to help reduce ­ program development time.

Examples of CASE tools are :

Visual Case —> program used for software development, database design, system design, system engineering and business analysis. The program contains many CASE tools within, e.g. the flow chart tool which allows the user to easily create flowcharts.

UML – Stands for Unified Modelling Language, which is the standardized specification language for object modelling. Is is a general modelling language that includes graphical notation used to create and abstract model of a system.

ERM - Stands for Entity Relationship Model, which is a relational schema databse modelling method used to model a system and its requirements in a top-down approach.

WordPress – A internet program which allows the user to create online blogs to display information to their liking.

MS Word – a word document program that allows the user to create word documents and edit documents to change the styles to letters etc.

DFD – Stands for Data Flow Diagram, which is a diagram that describes the flow of data through a system.

Metamill – a powerful UML modelling software.
